Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive at Port Blair airport and transfer to hotel. Evening visit to the iconic Cellular Jail, followed by the deeply moving Light & Sound Show. Overnight at Port Blair.
Full-day sightseeing: Samudrika Naval Marine Museum, Corbyn’s Cove Beach, Anthropological Museum, Chatham Saw Mill, and Chidiya Tapu. Evening sunset at the serene Bird Island. Overnight Port Blair.
Early morning depart for Baratang Island (120 km north). Pass through the Jarawa tribal reserve via police convoy — an exciting part of the journey. Reach Baratang and board a speedboat through dense mangrove creeks to reach the spectacular limestone caves. Visit the mud volcanoes — one of only a few places in India where this phenomenon occurs. Return to Port Blair in the evening.
Ferry to Neil Island — the vegetable bowl of the Andamans, known for its laid-back charm and unspoiled beaches. Visit Bharatpur Beach (ideal for snorkeling), the iconic Natural Bridge coral rock formation, and the stunning Laxmanpur sunset point. Overnight on Neil.
Morning ferry Neil → Havelock. Check-in to beach resort. Afternoon and evening at Radhanagar Beach — one of Asia’s top-rated beaches — for swimming, relaxation, and an unforgettable sunset. Overnight Havelock.
Boat ride to Elephant Beach — Havelock’s best snorkeling spot with rich coral reefs. Try scuba diving with certified instructors (optional), sea walking, kayaking, or a glass-bottom boat ride. Evening ferry back to Port Blair.
Journey to Diglipur in North Andaman — the largest town in the northern islands. Trek to Saddle Peak, the highest point in the Andaman Islands, for panoramic views. Visit Ross & Smith Island — two islands connected by a natural sand bar. If in season, witness the magical sight of Olive Ridley turtles nesting on the beach.
The highlight of the trip — board a seaplane from Diglipur back to Port Blair, soaring above pristine islands, turquoise lagoons, and lush jungle. An experience like no other. Afternoon visit to North Bay Island for one final snorkeling session. Evening: leisure and shopping at Aberdeen Bazaar.
Final morning — visit Ross Island for a peaceful heritage walk among colonial ruins, with deer and peacocks as your companions. Transfer to Port Blair airport for your onward journey. The Grand Andaman Tour concludes with a treasury of memories.
